Terms of Service

Effective April 28, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Golem (“Service,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Golem is a private relationship-intelligence tool that helps you track interactions, notes, and context about the people you work with. It is currently available by invitation only and is provided “as is” during an early-access period.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to harass, harm, or stalk any person.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you bring into Golem (emails, notes, contacts). You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you. Our use of data from Google APIs is further governed by our Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy.

6. Availability and changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active users of material changes. We are not liable for any loss resulting from such changes.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
